Google Announces Patch to Fix Problems in Android

Google has just announced that it has released a patch to repair problems in their mobile operating system, Android. There are two patch package offered by Google for the Android device manufacturers, one specifically to repair components of Android, and another one that also includes fixes for a particular driver chip components. Both of these patches should be distributed by the device manufacturer in the near future.

Related problems in Android, Google says that 32 issues, including 8 crucial problem, they fix it. Eight issues that are considered crucial referred to could create vulnerabilities that can be exploited attackers to things that are detrimental. One of the crucial problems associated with media server component.

As for the problems associated with a particular driver chip components, there are 75 issues that are fixed, with 12 of which are considered crucial. Problematic driver called associated with the components of the SoC are widely used today, including Qualcomm, MediaTek, and NVIDIA. Some of the problems related to the driver also called potentially dangerous security hole.

Overall, Google has improved 107 patch security holes in two newly released in early July 2016. Some called the Nexus devices will soon get this patch to fix the problem. As for devices from other manufacturers, time-release firmware update to patch this course will vary at the discretion of the manufacturer.
