Google has just announced that it has released a patch to repair problems in their mobile operating system, Android. There are two patch package offered by Google for the Android device manufacturers, one specifically to repair components of Android, and another one that also includes fixes for a particular driver chip components. Both of these patches should be distributed by the device manufacturer in the near future.
Related problems in Android, Google says that 32 issues, including 8 crucial problem, they fix it. Eight issues that are considered crucial referred to could create vulnerabilities that can be exploited attackers to things that are detrimental. One of the crucial problems associated with media server component.
As for the problems associated with a particular driver chip components, there are 75 issues that are fixed, with 12 of which are considered crucial. Problematic driver called associated with the components of the SoC are widely used today, including Qualcomm, MediaTek, and NVIDIA.
